9.1 Disposing of packaging
Your stove is wrapped in plastic film on delivery. Recycle the plastic.
For additional information on proper packaging disposal and the available
return options for waste packaging, please contact your city or municipality.

Cut-off in the flue gas path to reduce an
elevated supply pressure.
Firebricks
Internal firebox cladding made from
vermiculite for insulation.
Supply pressure (chimney airflow)
The required supply pressure ensures the
flue gases are extracted properly and the
necessary amount of combustion air is
delivered.
Chimney airflow
Physical process which ensures flue gases
flow outside.
Pilot fire
A quick lighting fire to build the chimney
draughts in order to overcome unfavourable
operating states such as cold air inside the
chimney.
Flue pipe
Connection piece between a fireplace stove
and a chimney.
Removes exhaust gases from a firing
system.
Smoldering
Slow burning without open flames with
heavy smoke developing.
Combustion air
The air a fireplace stove is supplied during
operation.
Deflagration
Sudden combustion of wood gas
accumulated in the combustion chamber.
Sootiness
Brown spots on the mantle block of the
chimney due to condensation are
caused by the flue gas temperatures being
too low and can result in a chimney fire.
Thermal output
Usable thermal energy produced during the
fuel transformation process.
Fire place stove for temporary burning
Fireplace stove where only one layer of fuel
is continuously being added over a period of
approx. 45 min.
