1 Notices and explanations of symbols
1.1 General information
▪ The installer and operator must read the operating
instructions prior to installing and using the stove.
▪ Failure to observe the operating and installation instructions
will void the warranty. Any structural modifications
to the stove by the operator is prohibited.
▪ The following regulations and documents must be observed when
installing and removing the fireplace, connecting the combustion air
controller and during operation:
► Building code
► Chimney calculations as per DIN EN 13384-1 and
DIN EN 13384-2
► Technical documentation for the stove
► Local ordinances as well as all necessary, applicable national and
European standards�

▪ Always use original replacement parts.

1.3 General safety notes
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE TARGET GROUP
These installation and service instructions are intended for heating and stove
professionals. All information in these instructions must be observed.
Non-compliance can result in product damage and personal injury
or even risk of death:
► Read the operating and installation instructions prior to
installation and assembly�
► Observe all safety instructions and warnings�
► Have the stove serviced at least 1 time per year�
SETUP, INSTALLATION AND ASSEMBLY
Observe these notes during setup, installation and assembly:
► Modifying any parts of the stove will void the approval�
► Always use original replacement parts�
► Do not seal the combustion air vents on the stove�
► Flammable flooring materials (e.g. wood, laminate, carpet,)
must be protected with a spark protection plate made of
non-combustible material (e�g�, safety glass, steel, stone)�
INITIAL OPERATION
The stove must be inspected by a specialist company prior to initial
operation:
