The NXOS Log On dialog box appears after you start the server and the LLM and
NXOS applications are started (see
). The first time you log on to NXOS
there are two default user accounts: Administrator and Guest. Log on to NXOS
using the default Administrator account.
Tip
If you log on as a Guest, you do not need a password.

Desktop Shortcuts
Shortcut
Description
Starts the FTP Server, LLM, and NXOS. Use this
shortcut as the default method for starting these
applications.
Starts the Low Level Module (LLM). The LLM
application is the core software component for
communication and video/audio I/O in your NEXIO
system.
Starts the FTP Server. The FTP Server lets you manage
the transfer of content in and out of your NEXIO
system.
Starts NXOS. NXOS is the built-in operating system
for NEXIO servers. It provides the user interface
where you can encode, play out, and manage your
content. It also provides access to the following
optional applications: ClipSync, Playlist, and Delay.
Starts NEXIO Config. NEXIO Config lets you change
the video and audio, and I/O control settings for your
video server.
