VEHICLE SEATING POSITIONS
! WARNING
: IMPROPER PLACEMENT OF THE CHILD
RESTRAINT INCREASES THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY
OR DEATH.

In very few vehicles, the child restraint cannot be
properly installed because of the type of seat, seat belt
system, airbag system and/or lack of location to anchor
the Top Tether strap.
ALWAYS READ AND FOLLOW
the
vehicle owner’s manual for child restraint system use.

Use this child restraint in a vehicle rear seat location.
NEVER
put this child restraint in a front seat location
unless permitted in the vehicle owner’s manual.
!
For vehicles with airbags, refer to the vehicle owner’s
manual for child restraint installation information.
!
If a vehicle’s front seat location must be used,
ALWAYS
disable the airbag. Failure to disable the airbag system
can result in serious injury or death. Follow the vehicle
owner’s manual for instructions on disabling the front
airbag system.
!
THE VEHICLE SEAT MUST FACE FORWARD

Insert the 1.2 cm (0.5 inch) screw with washer on
opposite side and tighten ❷.
TIP
: If connector rod does not pass through easily, make
sure it is aligned with holes and tap screw head
lightly to guide it through the plastic.
6. Secure fabric seat cover (see “Removing/Installing
fabric seat cover”, pg. 44).
! WARNING
: Ensure that all three connection points
are secure and tight.
DO NOT
over tighten.
CHECK FREQUENTLY

Reverse the above steps to unassemble child restraint.
