Assembling
Once maintenance is finished, reassemble the winch in reverse order with respect to the sequence
described above and use the maintenance products.
WARNING!
In the assembling phase:

position the 1
st
speed spring correctly in the housing, as shown in step #11 of the disassembly
procedure (shown above)

position the pin of the spring correctly, as shown below.
WARNING!
In the assembling phase, position the pawls correctly in the housing, as shown below.
Once they have been lubricated with oil, check that all the pawls can be easily opened and
closed with a finger.
For a right winch (RH):
mount the spring with the pin
pointing downwards so that it is
wound in an anti-clockwise
direction starting from the pin.
For a left winch (LH):
mount the spring with the pin
pointing downwards so that it is
wound in a clockwise direction
starting from the pin.
