Set the reverse switch, located on the switch
housing (F), to the LEFT position for a downward
airflow to create a wind chill effect or to the RIGHT
position to create an upward airflow that will help
move hot air off the ceiling. (Fig. 6)
For further information on the reverse switch, please
see Step 3 on page 17 in “Operation Instructions.”
It is advisable to check that the wiring has been
done correctly before proceeding. Turn power back
on and test light and fan functions with pull chains
on switch housing (F).
If fan functions but lights do
not
,
please turn power
off
and check that male plug from switch housing
(F) and female plug from light kit fitter (I) are
connected properly. Turn power back on and re-test
light.
If fan does not function,
please turn power off
,
disconnect male and female plugs on light kit fitter
(I) and remove light kit fitter (I). Remove switch
housing (F) and check that 9-wire plugs inside
switch housing (F) are connected properly. Replace
switch housing per instructions in Step 3 and
continue with Steps 4 and 5. Turn power back on
and re-test fan.
Once fan and lights are functioning, please continue
with Step 7.

Before proceeding, make sure electricity has
been shut off again.
Remove rubber bands and plastic bags from fan
pull chains. Remove hex nut (S) from threaded
rod.
Raise glass shade (R) in order to guide pull
chains through corresponding holes at the bottom
of the glass shade (R). Push up gently until
threaded rod comes through center hole of glass
shade (R). Secure glass shade (R) with hex nut
(S) that was previously removed. (Fig. 7)
Note:
Do NOT overtighten
hex nut
(S) as glass may
crack or break.
Thread pull chains and threaded rod through
corresponding holes in finial plate (M) and center
pull chain through hole in finial (L). TIghten finial
(L) to secure. (Fig. 7)
