Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) Design registration and
operation
This hoist is able to be operated in workplaces within Australia and New Zealand AFTER
REGISTRATION by HAPP. Operation of a hoist in accordance with WH&S is the responsibility of
the owner and operator. HAPP believe this starts with the installation of the design registered
hoist and is dependent on regular training of operators and regular maintenance by the workshop.
These procedures are to be documented by the owner and operators of the hoist. HAPP provide
documents of the hoist as part of a WH&S pack which includes the formal design registration
documents and documents that can be used to record the operation and maintenance of the
hoist. These documents are important as a base for documenting the regular training and
maintenance by workshop personnel.
To use this hoist in a workplace contact HAPP for the WH&S registration kit, you will need your
serial number of the hoist. Only hoist owners that have the official HAPP company signed and
sealed approval are considered WH&S approved by HAPP.
