Risks to children
Risk of suffocation!
■
Do not allow children to play with the
packaging fi lm. Children could be-
come caught in it and suffocate.
■
Prevent children from pulling small
parts from the device or taking them
out of the accessory bag and putting
them in their mouths.
Risks for certain groups of people
Dangers for children and people with
limited physical, sensory or mental ca-
pacity!
■
This appliance can be used by chil-
dren aged eight years and above and
by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abilities, or who
lack experience and/or knowledge,
if they are supervised or have been
instructed in the safe use and under-
stand the dangers associated with its
use.
■
Children must not be allowed to play
with the appliance.
■
Cleaning and maintenance must not
be carried out by children unless they
are supervised.
Risks when dealing with
dishwashers
Danger of explosion!
Solvents can create an explosive mix-
ture.
■
Never put solvents into the appliance.
Risk of poisoning!
Dishwasher detergents, rinse aid and
dishwasher salt can be damaging to the
health.
■
Keep these products out of the reach
of children and pets.
■
Never use the water inside the appli-
ance as drinking water.
Risk of injury!
Knives and other pointed or sharp-
edged objects can cause injuries.
■
Always place pointed and sharp-
edged objects with the pointed or
sharp edge pointing downwards in
the cutlery basket.
■
Ensure that children do not load such
objects which may cause injury into
the appliance.
■
Load the appliance in such a way that
no objects which may cause injury
fall out of the dish racks when the ap-
pliance is next opened and the dish
racks are removed.
Risk of scalding!
The hot washing-up water will cause
the dishes and the interior of the appli-
ance to heat up and hot steam is emit-
ted. Touching them can therefore cause
scalding.

Only hold the door by the handle
when opening the door. Maintain a
safe distance from the appliance in
order to avoid steam which may es-
cape.
■
Do not touch the dishes, cutlery or
the inside of the appliance imme-
diately after the dishwashing pro-
gramme has fi nished.
Trip hazard!
If the door of the appliance is left open,
this rapidly becomes a tripping hazard.
■
Close the door after every use.
