Changing the door hinges
The door hinges are on the right upon deliv-
ery. If the available space requires, you can
change the direction in which the appliance
door opens. Changing the direction of open-
ing of the appliance door requires a little man-
ual skill.
To change the door hinges, you will need the
following tools:
– Cross-head screwdriver
– 8 and 10 mm open-end wrench or socket
wrench

1. Switch the appliance off by turning the
temperature control dial (11) to the “0”
position.
2. Unplug the appliance from the mains.

3. Loosen both screw covers (15) on the top
of the cover (17) using a flat-head screw-
driver.
4. Unscrew the two screws (16) on the left
and right of the top of the cover.
5. Remove the cover.

6. Unscrew the three fixing screws (13) of
the upper hinge plate (18) and the single
screw (15) on the opposite side.
7. Lever out the blind plugs (19) on the left
of the appliance door (2).
8. Remove the upper hinge plate.

9. Remove the appliance door (2) and set it
aside carefully.

10. Reposition the door handle (3). Proceed
as described in chapter “Attaching the
door handle” on page EN-24.
