When the energy saving mode is active, the
fridge temperature will be adjusted to +6 °C
and the freezer temperature to -17 °C.
Activating the Eco Energy function
• Press the ECO MODE button (23) until the
indicator (18) lights up.
The fridge temperature is +6 °C and the
freezer temperature is -17 °C under eco
mode.
Deactivating the Eco Energy function
• Press the ECO MODE button (23).
The temperature display will return to the
original setting.
Door alarm
The energy consumption and the tempera-
ture inside the appliance can increase if the
appliance doors are opened often or for long
periods of time.
If the fridge door is kept open for longer than
2 minutes, 3 signal alarms will sound each
minute for a duration of 8 minutes total.
• Close the open appliance door(s).
The glass shelves
The top glass shelf (16) and the glass shelf
with bottle rack (15) are removable. The top
glass shelf can be rearranged as required.
The drawers and trays in the freezer compart-
ment (8) and (9) can be removed to create
more space.
You will achieve the most efficient use of en-
ergy for your appliance if you combine the
drawers, glass shelves and door shelves as
shown in the figure on pagepage EN-23.
1. To remove the glass shelf with bottle
rack or the top glass shelf, lift them slightly
at the front and then pull them out of the
guide rail.
2. Place the glass shelves back into the de-
sired positions.

Do not insert the bottle rack at posi-
tion 1 or 2.
The fresh food drawer
The actual temperature in the fresh food
drawer (5) may fall below 0 °C. For this rea-
son, it is normal for liquids in the fresh food
drawer to freeze when the temperature set-
ting falls below +4 °C.
