Connecting the water filter to the
water supply
NOTICE
Risk of water damage!
Faulty assembly of the water connec-
tion can result in water damage.
■
The appliance’s water pressure is set
at 2–7 bar. For higher water pressure,
a pressure regulator needs to be in-
stalled. If in doubt, enquire about the
water pressure with the water supply
company.
■
Do not connect the appliance to the
tap or mixing arm of a water heat-
er (e.g. continuous flow heater, pres-
sure-free boiler).
■
Ensure that the hoses are not kinked
and are carefully connected.
■
Do not extend the inlet hose included
with the delivery if it is too short. In
this case, contact our service depart-
ment (see page EN-38).
■
Do not use old or previously installed
hoses.
1. Cut the hose (41) in two pieces to the
length required to connect the water con-
nection, water filter, and appliance.
The length of the pieces combined
must be less than 5 metres. If the
hoses combined are longer than 5 metres,
the ice cube maker and cold water dis-
penser may not work properly due to insuffi-
cient water pressure.
Make sure to cut the hose on a straight
edge and not at an angle so that there
are no leaks.
2. Make sure that the water supply is shut
off.

3. Insert the end of the connection hose (38)
between the water connection and water
filter as far as it will go into the water fil-
ter’s inlet side.
4. Use a red safety clip (39) to firmly attach
the hose (38) to the water filter.
Make sure that the hose is firmly
inserted into the water filter so that
there are no leaks.
Do not kink or pinch the hose or lay it over
sharp edges.
