Multi-stage cooking
You can program the appliance to cook in two
stages – e.g. when you first wish to defrost a
dish at a high power then finish the cooking
process at a lower power.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
The grill rack is not suitable for mul-
ti-stage cooking.

Use the grill rack exclusively in simple
grill mode.
If you wish to cook in multiple stag-
es, you cannot select an automatic
program.
Example:
You want to initially defrost a dish
that you had frozen for 10 minutes, and then
complete the cooking process in 15 minutes
with 80% microwave power.
1. Press the “Defrost by weight/time” but-
ton (11) twice.

” will appear on the display.
2. Turn the control dial (14) until “
10:00
” ap-
pears on the display.
3. Press the “Microwave/Grill/Combi” but-
ton (17).
“
P100
” flashes on the display.
4. Press the “Microwave/Grill/Combi” but-
ton (17) once again.
5. The flashing display changes to “
P80
”.
6. Press the “Start/+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (13).
“
P80
” stops flashing.
7. Turn the control dial (14) until “
15:00
” ap-
pears on the display.
8. Press the “Start/+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (13).
The program begins.
The required defrosting time is counted
down in the display.
When the defrosting time has elapsed and
the cooking time begins, a short beep will
sound. 5 signal tones will sound once the
cooking time has elapsed.
You can extend the defrosting time
and cooking time as described in
section “Extending the cooking
time” on page EN-23.
Delayed cooking
With this function, you can set the cooking
process to start at a certain time.
CAUTION
Fire hazard!
Improper handling of the appliance can
lead to fi re and damage to property.

Do not leave the appliance unat-
tended during cooking. Keep children
away.
This function cannot be used with a
defrost or automatic program.
1. Place the dish in the cooking chamber.
2. Select the desired function as described
in section “Using the microwave oven” on
page EN-22 (multi-stage cooking is also
possible).
3. Set the cooking time as described in
section “Setting the cooking time” on
page EN-24.
4. Before you start cooking, press the “Time
selection” button (16).
The hour counter will start flashing on the
display.
5. Set the hour of the desired start time us-
ing the control dial (14).
6. Press the “Time selection” but-
ton (16) again.
The minute counter will start flashing on
the display.
7. Set the minutes of the desired start time
using the control dial (14).
8. Press the “Start/+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (13).
The current time will be shown on the dis-
play.
