Getting started
Operation
• To stop the shutoff, press the
ENERGY
SAVING
button for 3 seconds once again.
The original temperature setting will appear
on the display. The
symbol will reappear.
Saving energy
To achieve the highest possible cooling perfor-
mance with the least energy consumption:

The
symbol will light up on the display.
The fridge temperature setting will change to
7 °C and the freezer temperature setting will
change to -15 °C.
• To stop “energy saving” mode, press the
ENERGY SAVING
button again. The original
temperature settings will appear on the dis-
play. The
symbol goes out.
Note:
Freezer temperatures warmer than -18
°C should only be used for short-term storage!
To be kept at its best condition, frozen food re-
quires a constant storage temperature of -18 °C.
The temperature in the combination fridge-freez-
er and its energy consumption may increase
– if the room temperature fluctuates up and/
or down.
– depending on the selected location.
– if the doors are opened frequently or for a
prolonged period.
To avoid an excessive loss of cooling, a tone
will sound when one or both doors of the
fridge-freezer have been open for more than 1.5
minutes. The interior light will switch off.
• Close the freezer and/or fridge doors.
Standby features
If no button has been pressed for 30 seconds,
all display indicators will switch off.
To get the display indicators to light up,
– press any button.
– open a door.
