Preparing the appliance
Preparation
The right location
The combination fridge-freezer is designed for
ambient temperatures between 16 °C and 38
°C.
To achieve the highest possible cooling per-
formance with the least energy consumption,
choose a location that
– is dry, well-ventilated and not too warm
– is not exposed to direct sunlight.
Additional requirements:
– The floor must be firm and level.
– The room must be at least 10 m
3
in volume.
– Spacing from the wall must be at least 10
cm on all sides.
– Spacing from the ceiling must be at least 30
cm.
We do not advise placing it directly next to an
oven, stove or radiator. Install an insulation pan-
el between the appliances if necessary. Either
way, maintain a minimum spacing of 10 cm.
Levelling the combination
fridge-freezer
The combination fridge-freezer must be stood
on a firm, flat surface. Check the position of
the combination fridge-freezer, preferably with
a spirit level. The combination fridge-freezer
should not move when the doors are opened.
Adjusting for floor unevenness
Unevenness in the floor surface can be levelled
out using the front two feet.
1. Close doors.
2. Tip the combination fridge-freezer back-
wards slightly.
3. Screw in or unscrew the feet until the com-
bination fridge-freezer is vertically aligned.
4. Stand the combination fridge-freezer upright
again and use a spirit level to check that it
is level.
Closing the fridge door
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the combination
fridge-freezer may lead to damage.
• Do not adjust the fastener bar on the
left-hand fridge door.
13
To prevent the loss of cold air, the left-hand
fridge door is equipped with a fastening bar
13
.
When the door is closed, it automatically hinges
over and locks both fridge doors. It is normal for
the fastening bar
13
to get warm.
