When the batteries are run down
"LOBAT" is displayed on the Liquid
Crystal Display to warn the user.
Battery replacement must only take
place in a non hazardous area using
1.5V alkaline AA type batteries .
In order to replace run down batter-
ies, simply remove the two screws on
the rear cover of the instrument and
replace the four 1.5V AA batteries
with new ones, paying attention to
the correct polarity.
A 12VDC power source can also be
used to power the unit (see the Acces-
sories section page 40).
Note
The instrument uses the following configuration.
It is recommendable to purchase the Hanna
HI710005
and
HI710006
voltage adapters that use the proper polarity configuration.
Anyway,
HI 9224
and
HI 92240
can be used with other adapters.
In this case, remember to check the correct polarity of your adapter
before connecting it to the meter.
