PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

HI  9056

performs temperature measure-

ments using interchangeable

K

-type ther-

mocouple probes.

HI  9057

 performs temperature measure-

ments with different types of thermocouples
(

K

-

J

-

T

). This meter is equipped with a key

that switches range from K-type to J-type or
T-type thermocouples.

The non-linearity of the temperature probe
is linearized by the built-in microprocessor,
in order to achieve a high degree of accu-
racy and resolution. Also the HI9056 accu-
rately compensates for temperature drifts in
the measurement circuit and the reference
junction.

HI  9056

has two built-in K-type probe con-

nectors. By simply pressing a button, the
meter switches between the two readings on
the display. A "

T" button will display the

difference between the two probe readings.
