Section 9: Installing The Canopy
Step 6. Mark the location of each piece using a pencil. Use
some sandpaper (medium or fine) to roughen up the inner sur-
face of the canopy where you marked the location of the plywood
supports. This will help the epoxy to adhere to the canopy mate-
rial. Mix up 1 oz of 6-minute epoxy and install each brace. Use
masking tape to hold it in position until the epoxy cures.
Step 7. After the epoxy has cured completely, you can loop
the small rubber band around the plywood tab on the canopy
and the former in the fuselage. This will securely hold the
canopy in place.
