There are 33 grease fittings on your new H&S H D 7+4 two-way forage box. Grease daily during normal use
and before and after storage. Use a good grade of high quality grease.
A. (2) one at each end of PTO at U-joint
B. (1) one on variable drive outer upper sheave
C. (1) one on variable drive inner lower sheave
D. (1) one on beater drive clutch
E. (1) one on sprocket type chain tightener -
beater drive chain
F. (2) one at each end of brace - gearbox to main
apron drive shaft.
H. (2) remote fittings for right hand and center
main apron drive shaft bushings
I. (6) beater bearings -one at each end of each
beater (sealed bearings – DO NOT over
grease)
J. (1) one on left hand main apron drive shaft
bushing
K. (8) one on each main apron rear idler sprocket
L. (1) one on beater engage bronze yoke
M. (1) one on drive shaft end of brace for rear main
apron drive shaft
N. (1) one on gear reduction sprocket at rear of
forage box
O. (3) one on left, center and right hand rear drive
shaft brackets
P. (1) one on Drive Belt Tightener Bracket
(Under Shield)
Q. (1) one on Clutch Control Handle (Under
Shield)
