LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS

Caution: 

Keep outdoor gas cooking appliance area clear and free from combustible materials,

gasoline and other flammable vapours and liquids.

Check and clean burner/venturi tubes for insects and insect nests. A clogged tube can lead to

a fire beneath the grill.

Do not obstruct the flow of combustion and ventilation air.

Attempting to light the burner with the lid closed may cause an explosion.

1. Read instructions before lighting.

2. Control knob must be in the OFF position.

3. Connect propane cylinder/open the gas supply line.

4. Push and turn control knob couter clockwise to LOW. Hold the knob, until just before the flames go out.

5. Press the IGNITION button and hold for up to 5 seconds to light burner.

6. Release control knob after 45 seconds.
7. If ignition does not occur in 45 seconds, push and turn burner control knob to OFF, wait 5 minutes,

    and repeat lighting procedure.
8. If igniter does not light the burner, use a long match or long butane lighter.

9. Adjust to desired flame level with the control knob.

Minimum clearance: Top: 183  cm (6 ft /72 in) sides: 122 cm (4 ft /48 in)

Minimum clearance from sides and back of unit to adjacent combustible construction below top of unit, 

122 cm (48 in) from sides, 122 cm (48 in) from back.
