Belt Inspection
Inspect belts daily and replace at first sign of wear or any of the following belt issues:
STRETCHED
Check for any discoloration and elongated areas
of the belt
FRACTURES
Check for any fractures, cuts, or breaks
TWISTING
Ensure belt is flat and linear from point to point
FRAYED
Any exposed Kevlar cords protruding through the
belt
SPLIT END
Ends should be fully intact; no splits or tears
PERMANENTLY BENT
Belt has ‘kink’ and prohibits it from laying flat
