Configuration #8 - STAND ALONE BOILER WITH DOMESTIC HOT WATER DIVERTING VALVE
(Requires additional heating wiring harness – p/n WRE 74090)
• A room thermostat is to be connected to terminals 5 & 6 (or 13 & 14, 57 & 58 depending on model). If no
yellow jumper wire is attached to terminals 5 & 6 (or 13 & 14, 57 & 58 depending on model), which will be
removed to connect room thermostat, additional wiring is required. Consult local supplier.
• No external sensor is to be connected to terminals 1 & 2 (or 3 & 4, 28 & 29 depending on model).
• The tank sensor or an aquastat is to be connected to harness leads labeled “Tank Sensor”.
• The domestic hot water diverting valve is to be connected to the harness leads labeled “3-way Open”,
“3-way Close”, and “3-way L”.
In this configuration the following can be done:
1. Adjust the boiler minimum and maximum temperature setting via the potentiometer located on the display
panel, within the range of 50 - 192°F.
(Parameter 2 EB, 2 EA)
2. Set boiler water temperature to the DHW tank.
(Factory default is 185°)
(Parameter 2 CE)
3. Set the DHW water temperature
(Factory default is 140°F (must be less than 2CC)) (Parameter 2 LF)
