How to Steam Iron
1. Make sure Iron is unplugged and
Adjustable Steam Switch is set to
NO STEAM ( ). While pressing
the Release button and holding
the Handle, use other hand to pull
Tank away from cord end.
OR
CAUTION
Burn Hazard.
Attempting to steam iron on a lower temperature
setting or failing to allow the Iron to preheat for 2 minutes can result in hot water dripping
from the Soleplate.
2. Move Water Tank Door down to
open and fill with water to MAX
Fill Line. Close Water Tank Door.
3. Place Tank on Soleplate and
slide back until it clicks into
position. Plug into outlet. Set
Adjustable Steam Switch to
desired steam setting.
4. Turn Temperature Control Dial to
desired setting.

5A. NOTE: To avoid property
damage to supporting surfaces,
always use an ironing board.
Do not allow hot Soleplate to
touch delicate garments.
5B. For vertical steaming, hold
Iron 6” (15 cm) from garment.

Soleplate to touch delicate
garments.
6. When finished, turn Temperature
Control Dial to OFF. Unplug Iron
and allow to cool. Empty any
remaining water from Iron. See
“Care and Cleaning.”
AUTOMATIC SHUTOFF:
The Iron will turn off automatically after 30
minutes when left resting on its Heel Rest,
and after 60 seconds when left resting on
the Soleplate.
