Troubleshooting

PROBLEM

PROBABLE CAUSE

Low, poor, or
slow heating.

• Multifunction Cooker wasn’t preheated. The indicate light will come on when plug and it come

off when the unit is preheated. The indicator light will come on when preheating and will turn off
when temperature is met.

•Allow cooking plates to preheat for 3-6 minutes before use.
•Preheat the the cover closed.
•Indicator light will cycle on and off and does not indicate food readiness.

Cooking too slow.

Ensure plates are fully installed.

Overfilled Sandwich

Reduce the amount of ingredients in your sandwich.

Overflow Waffle

Reduce the amount of waffle butter.

Egg undercooked, bread not
done

Extra-large eggs, frozen, or very cold ingredients may lengthen cooking time. Add additional cook-
ing time.

Egg overcooked.

Cooking time may vary if you are using small eggs, scrambled or egg whites. Reduce cooking time
for future recipes.

Ingredients stick to nonstick
cooking plate

Use a heat resistant rubber or wooden utensil to loosen any baked-on ingredients. Lightly spray
with nonstick cooking spray before preheating for next use.

Bread too brown for sandwich

Higher fat contents and sugars may cause breads to darken. Cook eggs and other ingredients first
and then add bread to finish cooking your sandwiches.

Multifunction Cooker will not
turn on or power light is not illu-
minated

Check to make sure it is plugged into an electrical outlet. If not,
plugin to working electrical outlet.

Waffle taking too long to cook or
waffle not done.

• Check recipe for waffle cooking time. Waffles are cooked when steaming stops.
• Slightly lift Cover, if waffle starts to release it is cooked. If it doesn't, continue to cook 1 to 2 min-
utes.

Difficulty closing Cover

Reduce amount of mix-ins. Nuts or chocolate chips may make the cover difficult to close if you do
not spread the batter in the unit evenly when pouring batter onto Grids.

Waffle sticking to Grids

• Spray a small amount of cooking spray on Grids before preheating.
• Waffle isn’t fully cooked. Wait until steaming stops to remove waffle.
• Grids need to be cleaned. Clean Grids after each use.
