3. Using the fiber inspection microscope, inspect the laser fiber optic cable for contamination as outlined in the
section
. If contaminated, clean the fiber optic cable as described.
4. On the lamp head, remove the SMA cap covering the Laser Input port.

5. Carefully insert the laser fiber optic cable into the Laser Input port of the lamp head. Insert the fiber optic cable
at a slight angle until the fiber tip is inside the port on the lamp head.
