Writing, saving and sending SMS messages
An SMS may be no more than 160 characters in length.
Every SMS that you send will be automatically saved and placed
in the outgoing SMS list. You can also save and store messages
prepared for sending in this list. You can then call up the SMS,
and either edit, send or delete it. You can store a total of 50
SMS messages in the incoming and outgoing lists.
Open the SMS menu by pressing the left Display
button 2x.

Press the SMS menu button.
Select
Write message
.
Confirm the selection with the Display button
OK
. The
display shows: “Message”.
Select the entry mode by pressing and holding the # button
until the required mode appears in the display;
Standard
mode – no symbol is displayed.
Eatoni
entry mode – the display shows “Eatoni”.
Press one of the alphanumeric buttons, and all the characters
mapped to this button appear in the 1
st
display line. Select the
required character by pressing the # button. The writing cursor
now advances one position.
If you press the Scroll button backward, the cursor moves one
position back, if you press the Scroll button forward, the cursor
moves one position forward.
To insert a blank space between two words, press button
“1”.
