Using the telephone
Set-up and connection of base unit
Set up the base unit at a central location in the building, e.g. in the hall.
Avoid placing the unit in the immediate vicinity of radios or television sets
and PC’s.
Remember that the reception strength and range will be greatly affected by
conditions within the building. The range is about 300 m in the open. Inside
buildings, the maximum range is 50 m.
1. Insert the small plug of the power supply cable
into the socket at the
rear of the base unit housing.
2. Insert the cable into the cable channel.
3. Connect the power supply unit to the socket.
4. Insert the small plug of the phone cord into the socket at the
bottom of the base unit housing.
5. Insert the phone cord into the cable channel.
6. Connect the phone plug to the phone socket.
Using the handset
1. The display is protected by a piece of plastic film. Please remove the
plastic film.
2. Open the battery compartment – press the recessed area and push the
cover downward
3. Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
4. Close the battery compartment – fit the cover, offset by about 3 mm
downward, and push upward until it clicks into place.
5. Place the handset on the base unit and charge the batteries. Leave the
handset in the base unit for approx. 16 hours to charge the batteries.
6. The handset registers itself automatically.

configuration of the wiring (configuration: 3-4)!
