The
OFF
Key
The BOD test automatically ends after the selected test duration
(5.25, 7, or 10.50 days), if not ended manually before then. The
status annunciator in the lower right of the display will change
from
RUN
to
END,
indicating test completion. To end a test
manually, proceed as follows:
1. Press the key for the channel to be stopped.
2. Make sure the channel number in the lower right of the display
matches the number of the channel to be stopped.
3. Press and hold the
OFF
key for several seconds until the status
annunciator shows
END
. The current BOD data become the
final test value, and data recording for the channel stops. The
BOD curve is retained and can be accessed until another test is
started on the channel. If the test length is changed, all
channels are cleared (CLR) and data are erased.
Once ended, a test can not be re-started on the sample. A fresh
sample must be used and the channel options must be re-selected.
2.3 Setting the Clock
All channels must display
END
before the clock can be set. To
adjust the time, date, or test length, press and hold both the < and
>
keys simultaneously until the time setting menu is displayed.
Select the clock parameter to be adjusted by pressing the
corresponding channel key as shown in Table 1.
