7 Accessories and Attachments
7.1 Model 32957 Sample Filter Kit
For optimum performance, it is necessary to ensure that no particles can enter the
Probrix system. As some customers only filter their product in the filling machine, it is
possible for particles in the customer's product to enter the Probrix system causing
blockages, potential damage to the sensor membranes, and therefore incorrect
measurements.
To avoid these problems, a filter kit (see illustration above) has been developed to trap
any particles prior to entering the Probrix system.
7.1.1 Installation
7.1.2 Maintenance
Once installed, the filter should be checked and cleaned on a regular basis (the time
interval being dependant on your application and product). If the filter gets blocked with
particles, this will cause degassing which in turn will affect the performance of the
Probrix. For hygienic reasons, the filter should be checked and cleaned just prior to a
Cleaning In Place (CIP) operation.

This kit should be installed on the sample
inlet tube on the outside of the Probrix, just
prior to the sample entering the system (as
illustrated right) using standard Swagelok
connections.
