Description of models
The
Applanation Tonometer AT 900 C/M
(6) is produced for
those who wish the tonometer to remain permanently on the
slit lamp. It is mounted on a pivot on the microscope and for
examination is swung forward in front of the microscope. The
applanation surface is to be examined in a monocular manner
through the left ocular.
The
Applanation Tonometer AT 900 M/Q
(7) is mounted on
the guide plate over the slit lamp axis during tonometric exami-
nations. For examinations through the right or left ocular, the
appliance can be mounted in two positions on the guide plate.
The feeler arm protrudes from below with prism measuring into
the beam path of the microscope and the illumination unit.
Apart from the working position, the
Applanation Tonometer
AT 900 BQ
(8) has also two resting positions.
For perfect tonometric examination the tonometer is swung in
front of the microscope and the illumination unit moved from
the left to touch the bracket of the tonometer. In this position,
the left and right eye of the patient can be examined without
difficulties (no 60° position).
The applanation surface is to be examined in a monocular man-
ner through the right ocular of the stereo-microscope.
The
Applanation Tonometer AT 870
is to be mounted over
the microscope of the slit lamp. The feeler arm protrudes from
above into the path of the microscope and the illumination unit.
The tonometer is ready for use with a single swing movement
of the feeler arm.
