The device supports automatic fan speed adjustment and hot-swapping of the fan 

tray.

For of the description of the fan tray LEDs, refer to Table 1-15 in Chapter 1 “Router 

Overview”.  

 

8.8.3  Removing a Fan Tray 

 

  Caution:  

Keep your hands away from the spinning fan blades when removing the fan tray. 

 

To remove a fan tray, reverse the installation procedure.  

1) 

Face the front panel of the router.  

2) 

Loosen the captive screws on the fan tray by turning them counterclockwise with a 

Philips screwdriver.

Gently pull the fan tray out along the slide rails.
