Parameters
first-num1
: Specifies the absolute number of the first user interface, in the range of 0 to 44.
last-num1
: Specifies the absolute number of the last user interface, in the range of 1 to 33. This value
cannot be smaller than the
first-num1
.
aux
: Specifies the AUX user interface.
vty
: Specifies the VTY user interface.
first-num2
: Specifies the relative number of the first user interface, in the range of 0 to 9 for an AUX user
interface and 0 to 15 for a VTY user interface.
last-num2
: Specifies the relative number of the last user interface, in the range of 1 to 15 for a VTY user
interface. For an AUX user interface, do not specify this argument or set it to 1. This value cannot be
smaller than
first-num 2
.
Usage guidelines
If you specify a single user interface, the configuration you perform only applies to the user interface.
If you specify multiple user interfaces, the configuration you perform applies to all those user interfaces.
