Preparing for installation
ESD prevention
To prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage, always wear an ESD wrist strap when working
with the device or any component. Make sure the wrist strap makes good skin contact and is
reliably grounded.

Examining the installation site
The device must be used indoors. To ensure correct operation of the device and to prolong its
service lifetime, the installation site must meet the load-bearing, temperature, humidity, cleanliness,
EMI, grounding, power supply, ventilation, and space requirements. Reserve a minimum clearance
of 1.2 m (3.94 ft) between the device and walls or other devices.

Installation tools
No installation tools are provided with the device. Prepare them yourself as required. Installation
tools in
Table 1-1 are for your reference.
