III. LEDs
You may gather information about the status of the AR 18-21B
and its interfaces by reading the nine LEDs on its cover, as shown in
Table 1-17.

LED
Description
LAN1/LAN2/LAN3
/LAN4/WAN
OFF means no link is present.
Steady ON means a link is present.
Blinking means the interface is sending
and/or receiving data.
DSL LNK
OFF means the ADSL2+ line is not activated.
Steady ON means the ADSL2+ line has been
activated.
Blinking means the connected two parties are
negotiating parameters.
DSL ACT
OFF means no data is being sent or received.
Blinking means the interface is sending
and/or receiving data.
SYS
Blinking means the system is operating
normally.
Steady ON or OFF means the system is
improperly operating.
PWR
OFF means no power is being supplied.
Steady ON means power is being supplied.
