frequency span is displayed. This is useful for recording swept measurements
from an unsynchronised oscillator at the far end of a cable.
Sweep Step

Press the key, followed by [f2] “Meas Settings”, then [f4] “Sweep
Step” to show the possible settings for the Sweep Step parameter.
The
Sweeping Step parameter controls the step size between successive sweep
frequencies. The parameter can be set from “15 pts” to “240 pts”. Selecting “240
pts” will result in a fine and accurate sweep at each possible marker frequency at
the expense of time, while “15 pts” will give a coarse, but fast sweep over the
current frequency span.
