The DL-DVI-Vision-CAT series
The remote console of an extender line is connected to an user module of the
DL-DVI-Vision-CAT
series (
DL-DVI-Vision-CAT-CON
).
You connect the computer to be operated and optionally a local console to a com-
patible computer module of the digital
Vision
series.
Both the computer module and the user module are connected via a category 5e (or
better) twisted pair cable. Signals of keyboard, mouse and DVI video of the com-
puter connected are transmitted using these cables and enable you to operate the
computer remotely.
The computer can either be operated at the remote console of the user module or at
the local console of the computer module.

NOTE:
With the additionally available
CON-2
variants of the user modules, you can
connect a workstation to two
different
digital extenders of the
Vision
series.
Alternatively, you can connect a compatible matrix switch to each of these two
channels instead of a digital extender.
