Winter drainage
It is extremely important to remember to winter drain
the machine before winter storage! The warranty does
not apply to burst titanium heat exchangers due to frost
damage! Drainage is easy to perform, by unscrewing the pipe
connections on the inlet and outlet pipes. The machine is
then drained. It is a good idea to flush out the heat exchanger
in connection with winter drainage using, e.g. a garden hose
to remove any chlorine residue.
Maintenance
;
Clean the pool filter regularly to maintain adequate
circulation.
;
Check that the area surrounding the unit provides good
drainage and ventilation.
;
It is a good idea to clean the heat exchanger to promote
good function and energy savings. This is easily done
with winter drainage. Flush the heat exchanger using e.g.
a garden hose and drain thoroughly.
;
Check regularly that the evaporator coil is clean and dry.
Clean preferably with a soft brush and vacuum cleaner,
not a high pressure sprayer. Regular maintenance
guarantees maximum efficiency.
;
The outer case can be cleaned using a damp cloth if
necessary. Take care not to scratch the unit. To minimize
ageing of the surface, it’s recommended to apply wax at
least once every year.
;
Drain and deploy the accompanying winter cover before
winter sets in!
Fault tracing
If an error should occur, you should always start by
contacting the dealer responsible for the sale. Always state
the product’s serial number, see below. Frequently asked
questions with answers are also presented on the web site
www.gullbergjansson.se.
See above example for serial number label.
If an error message occurs, consult the error code table below
for the possible cause and suggested response.

In the event of any uncertainty before winter
drainage, contact your dealer! A frost-damaged
heat exchanger due to neglected winter drainage
is not covered by the warranty!

Unusually high humidity.
3.
Outdoor temperature is lower than
5 °C.
Reset parameters for defrosting to a higher stop
temp. and/or a longer defrosting time. If necessary
run in cooling mode to melt the ice. See Section 3.
