1 .02 Intended Purpose
Stepless ramps are intended for helping wheelchair users
overcome height differences in the physical surroundings.
1.03 Area of Use
The Stepless ramps are suited for use whereever there is a need
for wheelchair access past doorsteps and similar obstacles or
from ground level to vehicle.
1 .04 Conditions for Use
Stepless ramps are a carefully designed and fully developed
series of transportable wheelchair ramps which can be used
where wheelchair users need to overcome height differences of
up to 60 cm.
Stepless ramps are available in three basic versions:
• Narrow ramps, available in plain, telescopic and folding
models.
• Wide ramps, available in plain and folding models.
• EasyFold ramps. A wide ramp available in lengthwise two-fold,
three-fold and telescopic models.
Plain ramps
Placement
The ramp should be placed on a firm underlay. When setting up
narrow ramps, the two parts of the ramp should be placed paral-
lel to one another at a distance corresponding to the distance
between the wheels of the wheelchair. The ramp should be posi-
tioned such that the entire bent contact surface of the ramp is
supported.
Folding ramps
Placement
When setting up narrow ramps, the two parts of the ramp should
be placed parallel to one another at a distance corresponding to
the distance between the wheels of the wheelchair.
The ramp should be positioned such that the entire bent contact
surface of the ramp is supported. The ramp should be placed on
a firm underlay.
Important!
Unfold the ramp by gripping both handles.
To avoid anything getting caught up in the hinge, the ramp should
be held with the hinge opening away from the body whilst it is
being opened and closed.
Telescopic ramp
Placement
The ramp should be placed on a firm underlay. When setting up
narrow ramps, the two parts of the ramp should be placed paral-
lel to one another at a distance corresponding to the distance
between the wheels of the wheelchair. The ramp should be posi-
tioned such that the entire bent contact surface of the ramp is
supported.
