USBRECORDING

″Pausing”timeshiftpro-
grammes
You can pause any program you are watching.
This is a useful function. For instance, if the phone
rings when you are watching a movie, you can
pause the movie and resume it after the call with-
out missing nothing.
The last scene that was frozen is displayed
and time shift is recorded into the external data
media.
In Time Shift mode, you can only record as much
as the free memory space on the external data
media.
You can record current broadcast for approxi-
mately 60 minutes.

For undisturbed “Permanent Timeshift” use
an external USB hard disk.

Recordingprogrammes
You can record the programmes. Programmes
are recorded onto the external data media and
the archive is managed via television.
A memory of 44 MB up to 110 MB is required
for a 1 minute record.
Other recordings in the archive can be watched
while a programme is being recorded.
It is possible to shift channels during recording
between unscrambled channels on the same fre-
quency (DVB-T, DVB-C) or on the same transpon-
der (DVB-S).

When recording is complete, it will automati-
cally be stored on the external data media.

If you remove the external data media during
recording, then the recording is cancelled
automatically and no data is recorded onto
