Vorbereitungen
Die richtigen Anschlüsse, wie auf den Seiten 8/10 beschrieben. werden
vorausgesetzt.
Zuerst rasten Sie die
Spurtaste
1-2 ein. Die genaue Bedeutung dessen
brauchen Sie erst später zu wissen. Es wird auf Seite 18 erklärt. Danach
drehen Sie den
Aufnahmewählschalter
auf AUTOMATie und drücken die
Aufnahmetaste
so lange, bis Sie den
Betriebsartenschalter
auf PAUSE
geschaltet haben. Nun können Sie die
Aufnahmetaste
loslassen. sie bleibt
eingerastet. Während einer kurzen Probe stellt sich das Gerät auf den
zu erwartenden Pegel ein.
Das geschieht bei Rundfunkaufnahme z. B. anhand der laufenden Sen­
dung oder einer Ansage. Bei MIkrofonaufnahme ist die lauteste Stelle
eines Dialoges oder Musikstückes zu proben. Bei Platte- oder Bandüber­
spielung ist eine FortesteIle anzuspielen. Danach setzen Sie den Tonarm
zurück in die Einlaufrille bzw. spulen das Band an den Anfa
n
g des
Stückes, welches Sie kopieren wollen.
Aufnahme
Sobald Sie den
Betriebsartenschalter
auf START weiterschalten, läuft
das Band an. Oie Aufzeichnung erfolgt dann vollautomatisch in best­
möglicher Qualität. Das Arbeiten der Aussteuerungsautomatik zeigt das
Kontrollinstrument
an.

Preparations to Record
We assume thatyourTK 146 is properly installed as shown on pages a/l0.
Now depress the 1 -2 track selector. We will explain later the purpose
of the track selector. Now turn the
recording selector
to AUTOMATie
and depress
the recording buHon
whilst you select PAUSE
by
the
selector switch.
Now let go
th
e
recording buHon,
it will remaln Jocked.
The machine adjusts its recording level automatically. In the case of
radio recordings, the machine does this from the speech or music which
is being transmitted. In the case of rnicrophone recordlngs, try to find
the loudest part of a dlalogue or of a musical recording. In the case of
a gramophone record or tape transfer, try to find the loudest passage.
After this return the pick-up arm to the beginning or rewind the tape
you want to copy.
The Recording
As soon as the
seJector switch
is turned to START, the tape starts to
move and your recordings are made automatically with the best possibJe
quality. The operation of the automatie recording level facility ean be
