The search function operates with two
different sensitivities. When exploring the
frequency range the first time, it searches
for stations with high field strength (local
reception). When exploring the range the
second time, it searches also for stations
with low field strength (distant reception).

After having selected a waveband, you will
hear the station last tuned to in this band
(Last-station-memory). Your radio remem-
bers the station you have tuned to before
switching off. When switching on again,
you will hear this station or the radio swit-
ches to TAPE/ MCD if this function was last
selected.

Slide a cassette into the cassette compart-
