USB connection automatic / manual
You can choose whether the dictation machine automati-
cally switches to USB parallel operation when connected
to a PC‘s USB connection or whether you want to activate
this function manually.
• Select the menu item »USB connection « in the set-
tings menu »
« and confirm with the right selection
button » «.
• Select »Man. connect
« (manual USB/parallel opera-
tion) and confirm with the right selection button » «.
- The dictation machine remains in dictation mode
when USB connected. The PC supplies it with
power.
• Select »Auto connect « (automatic USB parallel ope-
ration) and confirm with the right selection button » «.
- If the dictation machine is already switched on when
connected to USB the USB parallel operation » «
sets up automatically. The computer identifies the
device as removable medium. USB audio and USB
HID are activated. Now you can both transfer data
between PC and dictation machine, and use the dic-
tation machine as USB microphone.
