The control cabinet delivered may only be used  

for controlling and supplying the corresponding  

pump with electricity. Any use beyond this is not  

in accordance with its intended use.  

The control cabinet must not be used to supply voltage to other  

pump systems, not even other fire pump sets. In addition, each  

control cabinet is designed for a certain motor power. This  

primarily applies to fuses and contactors. Therefore, it is not  

allowed to use it to control electric motors with another motor  

output.

2. General information

These installation and operating instructions apply to complete 

Fire RS extinguishing water booster sets.
These installation and operating instructions are to be used in 

conjunction with the following documentation:
• wiring diagram for the controller
• installation and operating instructions for the pump
• installation and operating instructions for the pressure switch
• service instructions.

3. Applications

The Grundfos Fire RS extinguishing water booster set are 

designed for automatic water supply and pressure boosting of 

fire-protection appliances in small residential buildings.The 

extinguishing water booster set is designed for the direct 

connection to the water supply network. It is only suitable for 

pumping extinguishing water without additives. The operating 

limits in section

In particular, the use of the Fire RS extinguishing water booster 

set to supply water or boost pressure in daily operation is 

regarded as not in accordance with the intended use. The fire 

pump sets are only intended for fire fighting.

The control cabinet must not be used to supply voltage to other

control cabinet is designed for a certain motor power. This
