Internal components of model GPY

The relay board has six standard alarm relays and 13 optional
alarm relays for indication of operation and alarm status in a
building management system or similar.

4.4.3 Operating elements

The operating elements are placed on the cabinet door and
control panel. See fig. 3.

Operating elements on the cabinet door

Circuit breaker A1 (fig. 3, pos. 1)

The circuit breaker interrupts the power supply from the mains.

[START] A2 (fig. 3, pos. 2)

This button can be used to start the pump regardless of system
pressure.

[STOP] A3 (fig. 3, pos. 3)

The button is used for manual stop.

Emergency start handle A4 (fig. 3, pos. 4)

For starting the pump in case of failure, see section

12.2.2 Manual operation with emergency start handle

.

Operating elements on the control panel

[Alarm Reset] B1 (fig. 4)

This button is used to reset fault indications. When the button is
pressed for more than five seconds, display D1 (fig. 4) shows
input/output status. When pressed for more than ten seconds, a
ten second phase-reversal simulation is carried out.

[Cut-out] B2 (fig. 4)

This button is used to set the pressure limit for stopping the
pump. It is enabled with a DIP switch. See section

5.1 Settings

via DIP switches

.

It is also used when setting the controller. See

5.2 Settings via

display

.

[Cut-in] B3 (fig. 4)

This button is used to set the pressure limit for starting the pump.
It is enabled with a DIP switch. See section

5.1 Settings via DIP

switches

.

It is also used when setting the controller. See

5.2 Settings via

display

.

[Print] B4 (fig. 4)

If the controller is equipped with an optional printer, this button is
used to print a resume of events of the last 15 days and pressure
data of the last seven days.

4.4.4 Display D1 (power status)

In normal mode, the display shows the status of the fire pump set
and alarm messages.

Fig. 7

Display 1 in normal mode

The display is divided into four lines. The first three lines show
these data:

In case of alarms, the third line shows alarm messages instead of
operating hours and number of pump starts.
The fourth line shows seven indicator lights. The table below
shows when the indicator lights will flash and how to reset them.
