Check that the saw chain can move freely
by pulling on it at the top of the blade while
wearing gloves.
It is important for optimum performance of
the pruning saw and to maximise the service
life of the saw chain that it is tightened
correctly.
If you have fi tted a brand new saw chain,
you should allow the pruning saw to run
freely for 2-3 minutes and then check the saw
chain’s tension.

left hand and the rear handle (11) with your
right hand.
First press the safety button (8) and then
