GRIZZLY YM 203
2
Operation and main technical
parameters:
1. Introduction in the metal
detector operation:
The YM 203 GRIZZLY metal
detector is compact, solid and easy
to use.
Here
are
some
of
its
characteristics:
-
EARPHONE socket
– allows you
to connect headphones to the
equipment (not included)
- sound discrimination – the
detector will produce constant
audio tune detecting a non ferrous
metal, and decreasing tune when
detects ferrous metal. It works
when it is set on “DISC” mode.
- Pointer indicator – shows the
possible kind of the detected metal.
- LED light indication – produces a
light signal when a metal is
detected.
- Sound indication – produces
sound signal of a specific frequency
when detecting a metal.
- Waterproof searching coil – gives
you the possibility to use the whole
length of the metal detector for
easier operation.
NOTE: the searching coil is
waterproof but the control panel is
not!
- Adjustable handle – allows you to
adjust the length of the telescope
of the metal detector for easier
usage.
2. Main technical parameters:
- transmission frequency : 6.99KHz
- signal frequency: 437KHz
- weight: 1.8
кг
.
- Charging: there is a charging
device included in the equipment,
which is used to charge the
rechargeable batteries of the metal
detector.
- If you test a ferrous metal, the
detection depth is bigger.
- The detection depth (finding
metal) is determined primly by the
shape, size and quality of the metal
detected.
The
bigger
and
qualitative the metal is, the bigger
the detection depth is.
3. Seeker’s ethical code
every seeker should be leaded by
the example you give. Here are
some rules you should follow when
you use your metal detector:
You must ask for permission the
owner of the place you are seeking.
You must respect other people
rights and property.
You must respect all local and
national laws when you are
seeking.
Do not destroy any archeological
objects!
Do
not
seek
in
archeological areas! If you find a
valuable object, even if you are not
sure if it is valuable, contact to
respective the regional or national
museum!
