Discrimination
mode
button PUSH:
The
button
PUSH
has
two
positions: 1 when the button is up
(ALL METAL position), then the
metals are not discriminated and
the detector reacts with a deep
toned signal. 2. the second position
is when the button is pushed (on
position DISC), then the detector is
in mode that discriminates the
metals. So when it detects a non –
ferrous metal, produces a solid
sound signal and when detects a
ferrous
metal
you
hear
an
interrupted sound signal. Besides
that the detector is supplied with a
pointer system, which is another
way to discriminate the metals. The
system has a middle point and
when you detect a ferrous metal
the pinter goes left – FERROUS,
and when you detect a non ferrous
metal goes right – NONFERROUS.

Critical sound and on/off
(TUNE) knob:
The TUNE knob serves as on/off
button and for adjusting the critical
sound too. To turn the detector off,
turn left the knob. Turn the knob
left and you will hear a little click,
which means that the detector is
turned on. Keep turning right and
you will hear the sound slowly
increasing. Adjust the button to
hear a very weak sound. The weak
sound is called critical sound. The
detector is most sensitive when the
critical sound is tuned.
5.
GROUND BALANCE knob
GROUND BALANCE knob serves
to eliminate the mineralization
effect of the soil.
Operation:
Turn on the metal detector – turn
the TUNE knob right. Lift the
detector to 40 – 50 cm of the
ground:
1.
release
the“Discrimination”
button(All
METAL); 2. turn the TUNE knob
maximum right. 3. turn the
GROUND BALANCE knob to middle
position. 4. Keep the detector lifted
and you will hear loud and
uninterrupted sound. 5. Start
turning left slowly the TUNE knob
until the sound becomes weak or
barely hearable. This is the critical
sound and in that position the
detector has the biggest detection
depth. 6. Then near the searching
