2. Rotate rest to desired angle, as indicated by
scale, then retighten the two hex nuts.
Tip: Use an angle gauge to initially set the
compound rest at 60° for threading, then
mark the cross slide at the 0° mark on the
scale for future reference (see
Figure 59).

Tool holders can be quickly loaded and unloaded
using the lock lever, and rotated by loosening the
top nut. Tools up to

" can be secured by tighten-
ing the tool holder set screws. The thumb wheel
rotates to adjust cutting tool height.
