G0530 Variable Speed Buffer
This section will cover the basic assembly and
adjustment instructions needed to begin opera-
tion. Complete the assembly in the order pro-
vided in this manual and then read the remaining
portion of the manual before attempting any type
of operation.
Your safety is important! Please follow the
warnings below during this entire section:
Loose hair and cloth-
ing could get caught
in machinery causing
serious personal inju-
ry. Keep loose clothing
rolled up and long hair
tied up and away from
machinery.
Projectiles thrown from
the machine could cause
serious eye injury. Wear
safety glasses during
assembly.
Disconnect power to
the machine during the
entire assembly process.
Failure to do this may
result in serious person-
al injury.

Mounting the buffer to a workbench or stand:
1.
Position the buffer on the workbench and
use the holes in the base as a guide to drill
mounting holes in the workbench.
2.
Thread the bolts through the base of the buf-
fer and the workbench or stand. Secure with
flat washers, lock washers, and hex nuts.

Use the

" wrench or socket
to secure the buffer motor to the workbench
or stand. (

). If mounting to a stand,
bolt the stand to the floor.
