The Mac Mini (e.g.) is connected to the
usb-interface via usb.
The volume can be set in your playback software
(iTunes/Amarra/etc.).
The Mac Mini and your playback software of
choice can be controlled via the Apple „Remote“
app via an iPhone, iPod Touch or an iPad.
(->Don´t forget to select the „Grimm Audio LS1 USB
Interface“ in the audio tab of the system preferences
of Mac OS X.)
