Toe-in angle - because of its acoustic construction and the wide baffle the LS1 is quite forgiving
and allows a broad range of toe-in angles. The preferred toe-in angle for the LS1 is indeed 45°,
so the right-angle projection of the tweeters meet 0,5m-1m in front of the listening position. The
result is an even wider sweetspot, while the driver correction can still completely be optimized for
the listening position itself. If for some reason you prefer the classic positioning with a 30° toe-in,
the driver correction can be optimized for this in this preference, too. Just choose the correspon-
ding setting here.
Analog reference level - this sets the gain for the analog inputs on both speakers.
Low-cut frequency - this adjusts how low the LS1 will play, when used as a two-way system
(without sub). The LS1 will be completely linear down to 25Hz, even as a two-way system
without the subwoofers. Choosing a low cutoff frequency will however limit the maximum
playback level. In practice 38Hz to 40Hz is a good compromise between a low enough bass and
a loud enough playback level. If you switch on the subwoofers, this setting is greyed out, as the
whole crossover is changed completely for a 3-way driver arrangement.
Low-shelf - this allows a slight adjustment of the low-frequency range playback to fit the room
and your personal taste.
Power LED brightness - this can adjust the brightness of the white LED in the LS1 cabinets..
